WORSHIP SERVICES

Grace Lutheran is a Christ-centered Christian community.  On Sundays we gather for fellowship and adoration of our Lord.

All worship at Grace Lutheran is centered around God's Word and the celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  Singing, praying, confession and absolution, Scripture and Holy Communion are part of almost every worship opportunity.  Both traditional and more contemporary liturgical styles are used, depending on the Sunday of the month.

The typical monthly worship schedule at Grace looks like this:

FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

"Divine Service Four":  Liturgical setting from the Lutheran Service Book (hymnal) with organ accompaniment.

SECOND SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

"With One Voice":  A less traditional liturgical format utilzing piano accompaniment and songs are a blend of traditional and newer Christian music.

THIRD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

"Jazz Mass":  This service uses a jazz-style setting for the Liturgy and the songs are a blend of traditional and newer contemporary Christian music.  Singing is led by the Worship Team with piano and string bass accompaniment.

FOURTH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

"Now the Feast and Celebration":  A somewhat formal worship service utilizing the liturgical settings of Christian composer, Marty Haugen.  Muscial accompaniment is by piano and string bass with all songs being led by our Worship Team.

FIFTH SUNDAY OF THE MONTH

"Blended Worship":  An alternate form of liturgical worship featuring a variety of classical and contemporary instruments and music.
